Brrrr --- It was -5 degrees when I got up at 8am on Saturday, January 2. I arrived at the shop by 9:15, and by 10 had a store full of people, and it continued all day. Just proves that people around here are a hardy bunch -- and quilters top of the list.

It looks as if the cold is going to continue, but what else could a quilter wish for -- a reason to use those many quilts we've made, and another excuse to stay home and quilt. I can hear those machines humming .......

New Class Listings, Events, and Blocks of the Month are all included in updated information on this site. The first class will be held on January 14. January 30 is the deadline for enrollment in the $2 Block, which has three colorways, so check that out. Our redwork "Flight of Fancy," and our queen-sized quilt "Back To Nature" will both begin in February. You can find details on all these on the "Events" page.

January 9 is our 9th Anniversary. Hard to believe!! We will have a 9th Anniversary Saleabration on January 21-22-23. A special trunk show will be in the shop from January 19-30. Come in and check out the items from the new Art to Heart book, Sew Necessary. They are all easy to make sewing aids. You'll love them.
